GENERAL GUIDELINES

Submit all works with a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) or we cannot guarantee to return it! Please insert this phrase:

"I certify that I am the author or sole owner of the material I am submitting to Hanging Out. Project Laundry List and its licensees may reproduce, distribute, publish, display, edit, modify, create derivative works and otherwise use the material for any purpose in any form and on any media. I agree to indemnify Project Laundry List for all damages and expenses that may be incurred in connection with the material."

PHOTOGRAPHY SUBMISSIONS

When labeling prints, please do not write directly on the back of the print, but rather on a piece of tape or a label, which should then be affixed to the back of the print. We will accept all sizes of slides, prints and transparencies. Negatives, either black-and-white or color, cannot be accepted and it is suggested that you always safeguard your original work by sending duplicates.

DIGITAL PHOTO RULES

If you have a digital camera and would like to send your photos to us via email, please follow these guidelines:

• Download the image from your camera and save it, unaltered, as a jpeg (.jpg) file. Macintosh users must add .jpg to the filename when saving it. Image size should be no smaller than 1.6 megabytes. For maximum resolution, the larger the file size the better.

• Attach the image to an email message. Be sure to describe the activity (who, what, when, where, why and how) in each photo and identify persons (from left to right) in each photo attached. Please also include the name of a contact person should we have any questions.
