National Hanging Out Day

Every year, on April 19th, Project Laundry List joins together with hundreds of organizations from around the country to educate communities about energy consumption. National Hanging Out Day was created to demonstrate how it is possible to save money and energy by using a clothesline. (Get involved...)

10,000 Clothespins

We distribute small clothespins and clothespin necklaces as "ribbons" of our movement. Help us to hang 10,000 clothespins on people's collars and lapels by 2005. Get a bag of miniature clothespins to distribute in your community. (Get a clothespin...)

The Clothesline Plan

We offer students an excellent way to get involved with our program.  (Get involved...)

Laundry History

A brief history of laundry, including information about the clothespin, clothesline, and old-fashioned technology. (Learn more...)

"Eye on the Line"

Nothing affects whether you can hang out more than the weather. We would like radio and TV stations to adopt our "Eye on the Line" program when reporting on the weather. (Learn more...)
